Dear all,
We seek nominations for members of the community to serve on the OOPSLA 2026 Artifact Evaluation Committee (AEC). We encourage nominations and self-nominations across all levels of seniority and from both academia and industry.
AEC members will evaluate artifacts submitted with accepted OOPSLA 2026 papers. It is the goal of the AEC to examine these artifacts and determine whether they are functional, meet the expectations laid out in the paper, and adequately support its central claims. We expect reviewers to review 3-5 artifacts.
This involves:
- Installing, running, and verifying artifacts.
- Validating artifacts for functionality, reusability and reproducibility.
- Writing reviews and providing recommendations for which badge(s) to award.
OOPSLA’s two-round review process includes corresponding artifact evaluation rounds:
- Round 1: February-March 2026
- Round 2: July-August 2026
