We are now one month away from Rocq’n’Share, 2026 edition! We will gather at EPFL, in Switzerland, from June 29th to July 3rd. We’re excited to see many of you soon.
We already have many participants registered, but there is still time to register! Registering early will help us a lot with planning capacity for rooms and food. Head to the event page for the link.
If you haven’t booked your accommodation yet, do it soon! Lausanne-area hotel prices are high for last-minute bookings. I recommend looking in Morges in addition to Lausanne; see #Rocq’n’share 2026 > Hotel booking on Zulip for tips.
There is also still time to apply for travel fellowships: we have a small budget to support participant travel; simply let us know when you register, or email me if you already registered.
The plan for the week is to have talks, tutorials, and brainstorms in the morning, and working sessions in the afternoon. We’ll kick things off with personal intros and a bug-fixing party on Monday afternoon. If you’d like to present a talk or a tutorial, please add your talk title to the wiki!
Weather permitting, we will have two social events: we’ll picnic near the lake on Tuesday (pack a swimsuit!), and we’ll go on a stroll on Wednesday in beautiful Lavaux vineyards (pack a hat, a water bottle, sunglasses, and a good pair of shoes!).
To surface synergies ahead of the workshop, I will send all registrants a link to a deck of intro slides a few weeks before the workshop: please upload a picture and fill in topics that you’re interested in! This will help new community members feel at home right from the start.
